This is a landmark year for MMS, as we are honoured to host the 10th Scientific Meeting of the Asia Pacific Menopause Federation (APMF)—the first time this event is held in Malaysia in 27 years. From 25–27 July 2025, we will welcome presidents of menopause societies, esteemed speakers, and delegates from over 20 countries to the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur Hotel. With close to 700 healthcare professionals already registered, this prestigious conference promises to be a milestone event for midlife women’s health in our region.
In response to growing demand from women across the country seeking informed menopause care, MMS is proud to launch MenoDoc, a national registry that connects women to trained menopause doctors in every state. MenoDoc expands access to care and reduces the burden of long-distance travel for many women in need.
We are thrilled to announce that this year's World Menopause Day celebration will take place in November at an exciting new venue! This annual event is more than just a commemoration—it is a powerful platform to raise awareness, share knowledge, and spark meaningful conversations about menopause and healthy ageing. By moving to a new venue, we aim to welcome a broader and more diverse audience, including members of the public – both women and men who care about menopause, midlife health and wellbeing. Whether you’re seeking support, looking to learn from
experts or want to be part of a community that empowers women through every stage of menopause, this is your opportunity to get involved. Expect engaging talks, interactive sessions and inspiring stories that challenge stigma and celebrate strength. Together, let’s reshape the menopause narrative—through education, empowerment, and unity.
Stay tuned for exciting updates on our website and social media. Mark your calendars, invite your loved ones, and join us in making a difference this November! Thank you once again for your ongoing support. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
Warm regards,
Dr Ho Choon Moy, MD, FRCOG
President, Malaysian Menopause Society and Asia-Pacific Menopause Federation
